Doing What We Love!
"We are shaped and fashioned by what we love."-Goethe
The holiday season and the beginning of a new year give us time to reflect upon our lives and what we love!
During my holiday, I found great joy in seeing friends at parties and having family over for the holidays. Though, I was saddened by some family and friends missing this year, the illness of my 10-year old cat, "Buddy," and the more-than-once inconvenience of failed plumbing.
Upon reflection, I see my life has certainly been shaped by the things I love:
Learning (my mom recently reminded me about how I enjoyed reading encyclopedias as a young girl).
Being Mobile (I give great thanks to having a car and being able to go!)
My Family (I am fortunate to be from "really nice people"!)
Aesthetics & Order (what a great feeling to get something looking balanced and organized!)
Being Healthy (I really enjoy feeling good!)
Meeting People (I enjoy learning about what other people love!)
Executing Ideas (nothing like working in a team, making accomplishments)
Making Money (can one ever have too many shoes or take their daughters on too many shopping trips?)
It's a good time for us to consider what we love and make sure our mind recognizes the connections we want to make.
